I suffered from regular severe migraines for most of my adult life which were so bad I would spend hours in bed , vomiting and enduring terrible pain which no amount of medication seemed to touch. I contacted Caroline and embarked on a course of acupuncture and even though I really didn’t expect it to work it DID ! It’s been over three years since I finished treatment and in that time I have had just ONE attack. I’ve recently returned to Caroline’s clinic as I have been getting frequent tension headaches and after just a couple of sessions I have experienced a vast improvement. I think it’s MAGIC and I would – and do – recommend it to everyone !

Unhappy with fine lines & wrinkles I embarked on courses of facials from glycolic acid peels to collagen treatments recommended as the best anti-aging treatments. In my experience there was a small improvement which only lasted a few days and cost me a fortune! Eventually found Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture. After 12 weeks of treatment my fine lines had virtually disappeared and wrinkles had considerably lessen. To such an extent I ditch the glycolic acid based facial products. I have successfully maintained a younger appearance with just one monthly treatment. I am absolutely delighted with the results of the Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture.

After trying to get pregnant for several years, two years ago my husband was diagnosed with severe oligospermia – a very low sperm count. We couldn’t believe it! It was a real unexpected shock. Fortunately with my fertility intact, we were accepted onto a course of ICSI treatment with LGI.
Wanting to maximise our chances of success, we spent some time researching on the internet, and we decided to focus on improving our lifestyle with better nutrition and acupuncture. We found Caroline, who really fitted the bill as she is affiliated to Zita West. My husband was treated first with acupuncture, which he found very relaxing and Caroline supported his treatment with Chinese medicine. I went to see Caroline at the Calverley & Rawdon Acupuncture Clinic after I developed Bell’s Facial Palsy following a particularly bad virus and chest infection. I had looked up the treatments for Bell’s Palsy on the internet myself although no medical person had advised or recommended me to do this. In my opinion the acupuncture definitely helped me to a speedy recovery – within a couple of sessions my face started to return to normal and after 7 sessions I decided it had returned almost completely, so much so that the consultant I was seeing commented that she had never seen anyone recover so quickly!

I first considered Acupuncture when I read an article suggesting it was helpful in the treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia. I had exhausted treatments in conventional medicine and I was suffering from acute pain in my face. Despite initial trepidation, my first visit to Caroline proved extremely successful in the management of pain. There has been a continued improvement following each subsequent visit.
